The Drexel Is Different campaign was created to appeal to high school students. Knowing students have varying degrees of interest in the college search, the copy and approach to introducing Drexel reflects that. We also wanted to acknowledge that students are getting a huge amount of marketing from other universities, all of which look and read almost exactly the same.

We sent five emails and a print letter, which all pointed to the Drexel Is Different (now Explore Drexel) site. This site is a collection of different interesting stories about students, Philadelphia, cooperative education, student life, and more.

There was an overwhelmingly positive response to the campaign, as seen on social media. For one email about Philadelphia, I used lyrics from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which received a huge response.
